Moosehead Lake Maine Fishing Vacations 

The Cozy Moose lakeside vacation property features a waterfront dock that is available for our lodging guests for boating and fishing enthusiasts. Motor boat rentals, are available by the day or the week allowing you to explore our Maine Lake at your leisure. Great fishing at our lakefront location after ice out late April through June. Once temps warm up enjoy fising area ponds rivers and streams. Private guided fishing trips available with a registered Master Maine Guide are offered throughout the season as a Moosehead Lake fishing trips are a must do if you enjoy fishing. Advance reservations to ensure availability. Troll for land-locked salmon, and lake trout and brook trout. Maine fishing licenses are required and are available in town.

  1. Old Town 14ft. Kayak- The Loon Edition - Small narrow slim based (maximum occupancy: 2 persons) for small framed adults and kids
  2. Old Town 14ft. or 17ft. Canoe (maximum occupancy: 3 persons; weight limit: 600 lb.)
  3. Wilderness Pungo Kayak - Easy to paddle and very comfortable - Stable one person kayak - weight limit: 250 lb.)
  4. Pontoon Boats, Motor boats and personal watercraft rentals, jet skis, and jet boats available. Advance reservations required to ensure availability.

canoe rentals on Moosehead LakeMaine Lake Rentals and Water Sports Information

  1. Lakeside Canoeing and Kayaking- Canoe and Kayak rentals are kept on site for Cozy Moose guests.  Easy 25ft drag into the water. 24 hour daily rates: $40.00 per Day or only $140.00 weekly. All boats must be removed off the shoreline beach area after use.
  2. Inflatable kayak whitewater 1/2 day river tours are available - This maine trip has fun written all over it. Advance reservations required.
  3. Motorboats, pontoon boats, personal watercraft rentals, and jet skis - call ahead to make arrangements to reserve your watercraft rental during your Cozy Moose vacation.
  4. Moosehead Lake, free docking and trailer parking available at The Cozy Moose. Be advised that docking is at your own risk type situation and docking is reserved on a first come basis.
  5. Boats, canoes, kayaks, sports rentals are not included in lodging rental fees unless specified. Please do not play on the equipment without a rental agreement. Sorry, no refunds for rental equipment within 30 days of date(s) reserved.
  6. Please exercise caution while boating, as Moosehead Lake contains rocks and other hazards.
