The Moosehead Lake Region provides an abundance of nature vacation recreational activities for you and your family to enjoy including fishing and boating, boat rentals, jet ski rentals, ATV rentals, kayaking and canoeing, moose safari tours, boat cruises, lake tours, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, golfing, horseback riding, and float-plane tours. Most of these excursions are available right here in Greenville Maine just 4 miles from our cabins, Memorial Day through mid-October, depending upon weather conditions.

Maine Guided Nature Tour Information
Advance reservations are required to ensure availability. . Maine Moose sightings are not guaranteed; however, your Maine guide will do his best to find them. Only experienced local registered Maine guides are used that are willing to share his knowledge of the area, history and of course Maine Moose facts. A 50% deposit is required and refundable up until 30 days of the booked nature trip less a $20 handling fee. Trips depart rain or shine. In the event of lightening or severe inclement weather, your nature trip will be rescheduled. If this is not possible, we will issue you a credit or a refund. Please note: Maine Tours are not available 10/11- 10/16, Prices do not include gratuity which is customary if you feel your guide has done an exceptional job.

-Pack a bag with rain gear and/or jacket
-Wear light colored clothing- darker colors attract
-Bring your own bug spray- We use Off Botanical on our skin and use Ben's 100 on our clothes.
-Wear a hat and bandana at your neck
-Bring extra film
-Water, and a health food bar is good to pack on any adventure
-Winter Trips: wear layered clothing: Thermal underwear, turtle neck, wool sweater or heavy fleece and winter jacket and pants. Winter boots should not be tight, and wear wool socks. We recommend you bring a face mask. You should prepare to cover all exposed skin in the event of extreme temps.
