Your Maine Guide will assist you with discovering sights, sounds and natures
wonders. Discover Maine, as exploration on all tours combine educational
information on Maine wildlife, wildflowers, birds, plants, forestry and animal
habitat and include a snack and drink. Tours booked more than 4 hours may
include a pit stop for lunch or an early dinner.
Multiple tours are in the development progress, so be sure to ask us what you
would like to do. There are a variety of vacation tours available for all your
interests including fishing, whitewater rafting, river kayaking and dog sledding. Choose from one below or make up one of your own. We have a network of Maine guides that we work with all offering something unique. We love special requests, so please be sure share your interests with us. January - March
Private Guided Snowmobile Trips -This is a full day trip that typcially running from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
You will benefit from your guides knowledge
and experience in the snowmobile rental business for over a decade. His passion
for snowmobiling, and familiarity with trails and snowmobile pit stops to warm
up and grab a bite to eat will enhance your trip. Snowmobile trips are
customized based on your interests and ability. Search for Bullwinkle, look for
Moose antlers and identify animal tracks. Greenville Maine Snowmobile Rentals
are available 10 minutes away or bring your own. Snowmobile friendly lodging
and winter gear packages available at The Cozy Moose.
Winter Expedition Tour-
This exclusive trip is a mini tour lasting for 1 to 1.5 hrs. Enjoy a winter stroll on packed groomed trails
winding through the the woods. Guided trip highlights offer an introduction to animal tracking, an opportunity for winter bird sightings and have fun seeking out a hidden geocache along the way.
May - October
Moose Adventure Jeep Safari Tour - Searching for Bullwinkle,
Explore Moosehead Lake Maine Mountains and Forests as you seek out to capture a
glimpse of this majestic creature. Learn about the Maine Moose Tourism in
Moosehead Lake as we seek out sights and signs venturing into Moose country in
an classic authentic Jeep Wrangler. You will have the opportunity to explore walking trails and
animal trails. Scenic photography opportunities will be discussed and will be
incorporated into the trip based on your interests.
River, Bridges and Bog Tour- A scenic tour sure to please showcasing some beautiful
scenery, chance for wildlife sightings including moose, eagles, blue herons, loons and ducks. Trip duration 3.5 to 4 hrs.
Bring your swim suit and river shoes in the summer as you will have an oppurtunity to get wet!
Bird Sits and Maine Bird Watching - Focus of this adventure trip will be on identifing birds and thier calls. Custom low impact tour that will leave you with a new outlook on this healthy fun activity appropriate for all ages. An introduction to Audubon Birds birding application will be demonstrated. An oppurtunity for photography set up will be offered. Trip duration 1 to 1.5 hours.
Private Guided ATV - Enduro Trips - Motorsports Adventures into the Maine
Mountains, a great way to take in the beauty of the Maine woods at your own
pace. You will stop at scenic overlooks, rivers and bridges, pass by bogs, look
for wildlife sightings along the way. Greenville Maine ATV rentals available 10
minutes away or bring your own.
Loon Safaris, Canoe and Kayak Adventures - This mini paddling guided tour adventure explores Moosehead
Lake by canoe. Trip departure from your cabin, trip duration is 1 - 1.5 hours. Cozy Moose cabin guests can observe
waterfowl that nest in the coves and identify various breeds of ducks and
nesting pairs. Learn basic paddling strokes, water safety and learn about
living in Loon territory.
